Prompt

Create 3 different eye-catching posts to promote an event.

The art director provided the brand color palette, fonts, and logo. They also sent over a mood board outlining the direction they had in mind. I needed to create several posts for two events and introduce the event speakers. The director asked for bold fonts, bright colors, and fun shapes.

Solution

Creating joyful designs that appear inviting and fun

The goal of the campaign was to feel approachable to designers at any level. I leaned into the art director's fun, abstract, bright imagery using simple lines and shapes and bold text.

I displayed the content within stacked blocks to embody the act of building a brand.

The evolving shapes represent the development of the re-branding process.

The event tagline “Define your next career steps” inspired the step and zig-zag imagery.
