About
The line Elemental Essentials was inspired by the four elements and the earth’s various landscapes. The clothing line takes each element and pairs them to landscapes; mountains to air, the coast to water, the desert to fire, and earth to the forests.
The line takes inspiration from the various colors and textures of the distinct landscapes and is paired with simple line designs to create timeless graphics.

The Clothing.
Elemental essentials consist of two clothing items associated with each landscape and element. The pieces chosen are all fair trade and are built to resist the harshness of the elements.
The air items consist of lightweight fleece and the featured micro puff. Both fabrics are breathable but will keep warmth in. The earth elements include a weather-resistant raincoat and flexible hiking baggies. For fire, an SPF lightweight and odor-resistant long sleeve and hat are essential for any desert hike. Lastly, water is represented by a high-performance wetsuit and fast-drying board shorts.

Elements Tee.
Handdrawn graphic scanned in and painted in Photoshop. The t-shirt ties the line together by displaying the elementals and landscapes together.
Concept + Moodboard.
My trifold was inspired by the way the elements interact with each other. To replicate the fluid pattern and decided to experiment with paint in order to achieve this fluid earthy look.
